Garrett Wilson has been one of the more impressive rookies in the NFL through 12 weeks. Truthfully, the only real thing that’s been able to slow him down this year has been bad quarterback play (cough… Zach Wilson). Last week the New York Jets turned to Mike White, and he did not disappoint. White completed 22-of-28 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns, so it's safe to say the Jets might be onto something here.
Wilson received a 28.6% target share last week and turned five catches (eight targets) into 95 yards and two touchdowns, looking brilliant in the open field. Wilson has now had at least 92 receiving yards in three of his last four games – so this isn’t something new. This week Mike White will be back under center for the Jets, and they get a matchup with the Minnesota Vikings, who made New England Patriots’ quarterback Mac Jones look like a star a few weeks back.
