Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints Prediction

Things have not gone the Bucs' way this year on either side of the football, but the bottom line is that they control their fate for the rest of the season. The Saints enter play tonight, representing a record of 4-8 on the year. The crazy thing for the Saints is if they win tonight’s game, then they are just 0.5 games out of first place. If they do not win tonight’s game, they fall to 4-9 on the season, and they would have a top-six pick in the NFL Draft.

As if going 4-9 is not bad enough, the Saints do not even own their first-round pick this year, as they traded it to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Saints have been led by veteran signal-caller Andy Dalton for the majority of the season. Dalton took over for Jamies Winston, who was injured early in the year. Winston is said to be healthy, but head coach Dennis Allen has stuck with Dalton despite the team's poor play.

The Bucs know that they are a much better team than their 5-6 record indicates. Tampa is coming off of a bad loss to the Browns in Cleveland in a game that they led for the majority of the second half. They will look to get the sour taste out of their mouth tonight and pull off a much-needed divisional win.

I am all over Tom Brady and the Bucs tonight. This is a great spot for the Bucs to get right in my eyes. I know that the Bucs will be a trendy pick tonight, and typically, I am not a huge fan of that in prime time, but I can not find any logical reason to back the Saints. The Saints look like a disaster on both sides of the football, and Tampa comes in the healthier and more talented team. I expect a big game from Tom Brady and the Buccaneer's defense tonight. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
