I am going to say that this is the most excited that I have been for a Thursday night football game. Let’s be honest. It has been a rough year for Thursday night games, but these are two fun teams that will be in action tonight.
San Francisco enters this game as the hottest team in the NFL. The 49ers have won six games in a row, with their last loss coming on October 23rd when they were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs. The 49ers have been led by their defense, which is the best in football.
On the other side of the ball, the Niners are on their third-string quarterback, and the last pick in this year's NFL draft: Brock Purdy. Mr. Irrelevant is not so irrelevant anymore. Purdy has been forced into action the last two weeks, and he has looked very good in his two opportunities. This will be the toughest task of Purdy's young career. Seattle is a difficult place to get into and win a football game.

The Seahawks have overachieved in the eyes of many. This is a team that was slated to win four of five games this year, and now they have an opportunity to make the playoffs in the final month of the year. The Seahawks have been led by former first-round pick Geno Smith. The line screams Seattle, and I will trust the read here. Lastly, I understand Brock Purdy has looked good so far, but this is a very tough spot for a rookie. Seattle is one of the most difficult road environments, and I think that he will struggle in this game tonight. Let’s stay hot in the NFL and cash in!
