Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens Prediction
The Ravens enter play 9-4 which is good for first place in the AFC North. Baltimore has been led by Lamar Jackson, who has had a very good season for the Ravens to this point, but Jackson will miss today's game with an injury. Jackson missed the Raven's last two games, and the Ravens are 2-0 in his absence. The wins have not come easy, and the wins have not been pretty, but the bottom line is that they are wins.
Baltimore will be challenged again today, facing a Browns team who is not playing for much at the moment. Those kinds of teams can be dangerous this time of year, and the Browns would love to play spiller and steal a win from their division rival today.
Cleveland has not had a good year, and they enter play today playing to the tune of a 5-8 record. While they are not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, they know that the season is likely over for them. The Browns traded for Deshaun Watson in the off-season, and Watson was suspended for the team's first eleven games. Cleveland went 4-6 in the absence of Watson and all things considered, that was not all that bad.
The issue has been since Watson's return, it may be too late for Cleveland to rally. Watson has not looked good in his first two games as the Browns are 1-1 with Watson at the helm, but in the first game, they defeated the Texans without an offensive touchdown. Last week Watson struggled against the Bengals, and he will look to bounce back strong this weekend at home.
I will be backing Cleveland on the -3 spread today. A lot of people will run with the points and take Baltimore, but this line suggests it is a Browns play in my eyes. I think Deshaun Watson will turn in a strong performance after a couple of poor showings and lead this offense today. Baltimore has been getting lucky in some close games this year, and I think the luck factor runs out tonight. Let’s keep rolling in the NFL and cash in today!
