The Jets come into play on the outside looking in. New York got off to a strong start this season, led by one of the NFL’s best defenses. Offensively, the Jets have struggled at times, and they have had three different starting quarterbacks this season. Tonight we will see former number two overall pick Zach Wilson back in action.

Wilson started last week after losing his job to Mike White, and despite the loss to the Lions, Wilson played pretty well. He is a make-it-or-break-it kind of spot, and he will look to shine on the national stage tonight. The Jets come into play losers of three in a row. With a loss tonight, the Jets would fall under .500 for the first time since week three.

The Jags come into this game with an opportunity to take over the AFC South. The South has been a bad division all year, and it has felt like it has been up for grabs. The Jags' recent surge has them in a great position for the final month of the season. Jacksonville enters play feeling good about themselves, coming off of an overtime win against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Jags have won two games in a row and three of four overall. They also currently hold the tiebreaker with the Titans, and they will play Tennessee in the final week of the season at home. Trevor Lawrence has taken a big step this year and has shown why he was the number one overall pick in last year's draft. Lawrence will have a tough task tonight vs. this Jets defense.

I am all over the Jets at home. For starters, the Jags are a heavy public dog, and who does not love to fade that? Secondly, I think that this is a great bounce-back spot at home for the Jets. They come into this game trending cold, but at home on a short week in these kinds of conditions, this game script favors the Jets.

I think this game will be a rock fight, and those are the kind of games that the Jets come through and win. Trevor Lawrence will have his toughest task of the season against this Jet's defense, and I believe that they will turn him over once or twice and control this game. Zach Wilson does not have to do much here for us tonight. He just needs to manage this game well which I think he is capable of doing. I will trust the home team tonight.
