The Green Bay Packers vs. the Miami Dolphins will clash from the Sunshine State for a Christmas Day matchup. This is a significant game for both of these teams for a few different reasons. If the Packers lose this game, their season is basically over.

Green Bay got off to a rocky start and put itself in a tough spot to make a playoff push. Aaron Rodgers has played through an injury all season and has not looked 100 percent a lot of times this year. Rodgers has looked sharp in the last couple of weeks, leading the Packers to back-to-back wins. Even if the Packers win out, however, they will need a lot of help from opposing teams.

Miami comes into this game losing the past three in a row. Miami, all of a sudden, needs to turn things around to be a wildcard team. Buffalo clicked the AFC East yesterday, so now the best-case scenario for the Dolphins is to make the playoffs via the wildcard. This has been one of the most explosive offenses in football this season, headlined by two of the best receivers in football, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. These are two of the best in the game and are a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses.

The Packers have struggled against the pass this season at times, and this could be a difficult matchup for them today. Miami comes into this game as a three-and-a-half-point favorite. 

I am all over the Dolphins this afternoon. I am somewhat shocked that this line is this short, but I believe that it is an overreaction to the last few weeks for Miami. The Dolphins have been cold as of late, but they have also been playing some of the best teams in football. They lost to the 49ers and Bills, who are legitimate super bowl contenders. The Packers are a much weaker team, especially on the defensive side of the ball. I think that Miami will be too much of an offensive threat today for the Packers to handle.
