If Los Angeles can pull off the win here, they improve to 9-6. They currently hold onto the second wildcard spot, but this would put them one game ahead of the Dolphins, and they also hold the tiebreaker over the Dolphins. This is a significant game for them tonight.
Justin Herbert has turned in an outstanding season and is the main reason why the Chargers are in the spot that they are in. Herbert has not had a fully healthy core for a lot of games this year, but the Chargers appear to be pretty healthy tonight offensively.
The Colts, on the flip side, have already booked vacations for January and February. This is a team that had pretty high expectations entering the year. Indianapolis traded for former MVP Matt Ryan in the offseason, and a lot of people thought that this move made them legitimate contenders.
