Tennessee Titans vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction
The Dallas Cowboys vs. The Tennessee Titans will meet up from Tennessee for a Thursday Night affair. This is a meaningful game for both of these teams for a few different reasons. If the Titans can not win tonight, their season is essentially over. For Dallas, a win and their chances of still winning the NFC East are very much alive. The Cowboys appear to be in a pretty good spot tonight because of the injuries that the Titans are dealing with.
Tennessee has numerous staters out for tonight’s game, including their best player Derrick Henry. It also appears that the Titans will be starting third-string quarterback Joshua Dobbs. Dobbs was once a high prospect coming out of the University of Tennessee, but he has not had a lot of success in his NFL career. The Cowboys, meanwhile, come into this game fairly healthy, fresh off a pivotal win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Christmas Eve. This is a short week for both of these teams, so health is key in this kind of game. Dallas remains one of the favorites to win the Superbowl despite most likely being a wildcard team. Dallas comes into this game as a heavy 13.5-point favorite.
I think that this side in this game is tough, so I am turning to a prop for us tonight. I will be taking Robert Woods over 24.5 receiving yards. Woods is the best option for Tennessee in the passing game, and we are not asking a whole lot out of the veteran wideout. This sets up to be the perfect game script for this kind of play, as I anticipate that the Titans will play the vast majority of this football game from behind. What that means is more opportunities for Woods in the passing game. Woods has been pretty good this season against this number, and I would expect similar results tonight.
