This is a spot that Green Bay did not think they would find themselves in a month ago. The Packers got off to a tough start this year, and it appeared that they would have no chance at making the postseason. However, they have been able to go on a huge run and set themselves up with a win and in.

Similar to the Packers, the Lions did not look like they had a chance to make the playoffs a month ago. Detroit has found its stride at the right time, and they are hopeful of getting an opportunity to make the playoffs tonight. No matter the result of this game, Detroit has a lot to be proud of this season. 

I am going to back the Lions with the points tonight with my pick. Here is the thing that we need to understand. Whether the Seahawks win or lose, Detriot will play this game hard. I would much rather the Seahawks lose and have the Lions play this game essentially as a playoff game, but no matter what, they will play with a spirited effort tonight. These two teams do not like each other, and any time you can spoil a divisional opponent's season, you do it. Detroit is one of the best offenses in football, and despite the Green Bay defense playing much better as of late, I trust that the Lions can score enough to stay within this number.
