NFL Rushing Props: Targeting Christian McCaffrey on the Week 1 RB Cheat Sheet

In the NFL, running backs are no longer valuable. Our favorite RB players aren't getting paid as much as other positions, despite holding the ball for 50% of games sometimes.

Hopefully, the NFL can figure that out soon.

However, there's no pay problem when betting on valuable props!

I've added three-player props for quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers. In this article, I'll be touching on running backs.

For fantasy football help, it's okay to look at different lines at sportsbooks to determine which player you should start on your fantasy team. Sportsbooks are typically sharp. Use that information to your advantage!

Also, check my other articles for the other positions, including quarterbacks and wide receivers.

Bijan Robinson Over .5 Touchdowns (+117) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Bijan Robinson figures to be a workhorse in this Atlanta Falcons offense.

In Texas, at college, Robinson had 258 rushing attempts for 1,580 yards, with 18 touchdowns. He led the Big 12 in rushing yards and touchdowns and added 4.17 yards after contact.

The Falcons were one of the best offensive lines in run block last season, and the Panthers couldn't stop the run very well last year.

You can count on Robinson getting the ball around the goal line or even in the red zone today.

Christian McCaffrey Under 57.5 Rushing Yards (-115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Christian McCaffrey only had one game where he rushed for more than 19 times with the Niners last year.

I'm not saying he won't be used in the passing game. But I am saying he'll likely struggle to find room to run against the Pittsburgh run defense today.

Plus, the 49ers will want to feed Elijah Mitchell the ball and could even get Deebo Samuel a couple of rushes.

Most of McCaffrey's playmaking will come in the passing game. He was targeted six times in seven games with the Niners last year. That's the best way to get him in open space.

Javonte Williams Under 46.5 Rushing Yards (-110)  Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Rumors will constantly swirl. But the big story heading into Week 1 in Denver is that Jaleel McLaughlin is expected to earn a significant dosage of carries in Week 1 for the Broncos.

In college, McLaughlin played for Youngstown State and went undrafted in this year's NFL draft. But he added over 8,000 yards rushing and had 79 rushing touchdowns for the Penguins.

Williams will likely start. But the Broncos probably have three running backs they'll rotate in, including the new acquisition, Samaje Perine.

It's possible that Denver eases him back into action and gives him just ten carries.
