This old-time rivalry dates back to 1966 when the teams first met. The Dolphins lead the all-time series 60-55
Miami impressed in Week 1, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 36-34.
The star of the game was Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Hill had eleven catches in the win for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
Tua Tagovailoa looked outstanding in the winning effort. Tua threw for 466 yards and three touchdowns. Every time that the Dolphins needed an answer from the offense, number one was up to the test.
Running back Raheem Mostert led the way for the Fins on the ground. Mostert had ten carries for 37 yards and a touchdown.
Miami was the most impressive offense in Week 1, but they are well aware that now they will have to match up against arguably the best defensive mind in the history of the NFL, Bill Belichick.
The Dolphin's defense will have to be much better moving forward after allowing 34 points and 433 yards in Week 1.

Mac Jones impressed in Week 1, throwing for 316 and three touchdowns.
Kendrick Bourne led the Patriots with 64 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Rhamondre Stevenson was the Patriots' number one back in Week 1 but rushed for just 25 yards on 12 attempts.
The defense played well for the Patriots, allowing the Eagles just 151 yards. Additionally, the Patriots had one takeaway on a fumble recovery.
