Allow me to start this off by mentioning that I am a big Lions fan. I try my best to be as non biased as possible and I feel like I usually do a good job. I’m open to the idea that I could be delusional here but let's hope not and my boys get the job done on Thursday.

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers Prediction

This game is at Lambeau Field which is never easy. Last time Detroit played in Green Bay, it was Aaron Rodgers last game as a Packer and the Lions shutdown their playoff chances. I know many returning Packers players will have that as bulletin board material and give it their all, I just think Detroit is the better team.

Both teams are 2-1 here but not every record holds the same value. Green Bay was trailing 17-0 when Derek Carr was playing last week and after he got hurt we saw Green Bay rattle off 18 straight to edge out a win. Green Bay had good fortune with the Saints kicker missing the go ahead kick and Carr going down. They could easily be 1-2 with their only win coming against the worst team in the league in Chicago.

Both of these teams have faced Atlanta this year. Both teams got the privilege of hosting them, but the games played out differently. Detroit had control of the game throughout all four quarters and held them out of the end zone completely. Green Bay lost outright to the same team Detroit dominated.

Detroit should be getting Taylor Decker and David Montgomery back this week which will be two huge additions to the offense. When they had them both healthy we saw Detroit upset the defending Super Bowl champs in Kansas City. Jordan Love is going to have fine career and Green Bay may even be a wildcard team this year, I just feel like it’s the Lions time. Detroit has won 10 of their last 13 and have won three straight against Green Bay. Dan Campbell will have those boys ready for war and I couldn’t be more excited. Let's roll!
