Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New Orleans Saints Same Game Parlay
First Leg: Alvin Kamara 3+ Receptions
Kamara has been the ultimate safety blanket in the Saints offense for years now. He has been one of the top fantasy football running backs since he entered the league because of his abilities as a receiver. Things have not changed much, even with a new quarterback at the helm. Since returning from his suspension, Kamara has totaled 25 total targets for an average of just over eight per game. Even more amazing is that Kamara has reeled in 23 of his 25 total targets for a catch percentage of 92%. This is not super surprising because most of his targets come on checkdowns or screens, but these types of plays have been a huge part of the Saints offense for years now and this season is no different. Kamara should be able to reel in at least three balls on checkdowns alone, but with screens and wheel routes included, three catches seems very attainable tonight for Kamara.
Second Leg: Michael Thomas 25+ Receiving yards
Thomas is no longer a top receiver in the league as he was for many years, but he has still been very productive in this offense to this point. He is averaging 55 yards per game which is respectable, but what is more impressive is his consistency. He has amassed at least 45 yards in each game to this point and has also reeled in at least four catches in each game. Kamara is the safety blanket out of the backfield, and Thomas is the safety blanket in the intermediate passing game. Thomas is averaging just under 8 targets per game and has caught 66% of his total targets. I expect Thomas to catch 4-5 balls tonight for anywhere between 35-50 yards.
Third Leg: Calvin Ridley 25+ Receiving yards
Ridley, much like Thomas, has been a modicum of consistency for the Jaguars this season. In his first season since returning from suspension, Ridley has not disappointed to this point. He is averaging 61 yards per game and has totaled at least 30 yards in every game this season. Ridley is also coming off his worst game of the season, as he only caught four balls for 30 total yards. It was a bit of a blowout, so the Jags did not throw down field much in the second half. I do not expect the Jags to be in a positive game script for most of the game tonight as they were against Indianapolis last week, so there should be plenty of down field work for Ridley in the second half. On the season, Ridley is averaging over seven targets per game and is the big play receiver in this offense. Ridley has at least one catch for 21+ yards in 5/6 games this season and could reach this number on one play. In a game that I expect the Jags to be trailing, I think there should be ample opportunities for Ridley to top 25+ yards in this game.
