Raiders vs. Bears Prediction, Betting Pick, Latest Odds: Can We Trust Davante Adams, Raiders?

When analysts and fans list off teams that can make the playoffs, they've left out the Las Vegas Raiders.

It makes sense. The Raiders are 3-3 but have scored 79 points while allowing 114 points.

That's a ridiculous margin, and it'll catch up to them. But it might not be this week.

The Las Vegas Raiders will take on the Chicago Bears on the road in an intriguing matchup between two teams who could be without their starting quarterbacks.

With the Bears struggling on all cylinders, will the Raiders find a way to earn a win and get back over .500?

Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Sunday's game between the Las Vegas Raiders vs. Chicago Bears.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Chicago Bears Prediction

Last weekend, Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a lower back injury against the Patriots. He went 14-for-22 with one touchdown and an interception before exiting the game with an injury.

Brian Hoyer came in and helped the Raiders seal the deal over the Patriots, throwing for 102 yards on 6-for-10 from the field.

However, reports from Sports Illustrated's Hondo Carpenter suggest that if Garoppolo can't play, it'll be Aidan O'Connell getting the start.

The Raiders didn't want to throw O'Connell into the first in the middle of a game. But they're comfortable with him starting a game. O'Connell has already started a game earlier this year.

The Raiders have added 310 yards per game on offense but have earned just 73.5 yards per game on the ground. Josh Jacobs had a career year last season, but he's earned just 312 yards on 107 carries this year.

Meanwhile, Davante Adams has hauled in 471 yards on 39 catches but has dealt with inconsistency at quarterback.

No matter who plays quarterback for the Raiders, Las Vegas should have success throwing the ball against the Bears. Chicago has allowed over 275 passing yards per game through six games this season.

The secondary hasn't looked good, and the pass rush has looked just as bad.

On the other hand, the Bears will likely be without Justin Fields. He's listed as doubtful with a thumb injury. Therefore, it'll be Tyson Bagent's first opportunity to start for the Bears.

Bagent came in for the injured Fields in last week's Vikings game and completed 10-of-14 passes for 83 yards. However, he also threw an interception in that game.

There were some solid plays from Bagent. However, he doesn't have the rushing ability or the playmaking ability that Fields has. The offense will likely take a hit, considering Khalil Herbert is also out for a few weeks with an injury at running back.

Las Vegas has held teams to 327.5 yards per game, which isn't bad. The secondary has played well, and the pass rush led by Maxx Crosby has done its thing.

Let's grab the Raiders at -3.
