NFL Player Props Week 7: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

Week 7 NFL anytime TD scorer player prop picks ahead of this week's Sunday slate of games. With so much action in front of us, who should we be betting on to reach the end zone? Find out here with Matt MacKay's Week 7 anytime TD scorer picks

NFL Player Props Week 7: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

Week 6 is in the rearview, with plenty of upsets and other unlikely outcomes rising to the top, as the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers both lost for the first time this season on the road. This variance also impacted our anytime touchdown scorer bets, as we went 1-of-5, with only Kenneth Walker III finding the end zone at even odds early during Seattle's loss against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Week 6 only had two teams on Bye, but in Week 7, we have six teams on their Bye, meaning we'll see sharper lines all across sports betting markets. With that said, there are some excellent matchups to watch unfold from a pure entertainment standpoint, as well as betting on anytime touchdown scorers. Whether it's the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the high-octane offense of the Miami Dolphins, or the 5-1 Detroit Lions going on the road to play Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, we've got several good games on tap.

Out of the 12 games being played on Sunday and Monday night, only two point total lines are set at 47.5 or higher. We're getting 47.5 in an AFC West divisional matchup between the Chiefs and Chargers, while Sunday Night Football featuring Miami vs. Philadelphia is the only game on the Week 7 slate with a point total line at 51.5. High-scoring contests equate to more touchdown scorer opportunities, but we're dialed in to find the best players to bet on for anytime touchdown scorer props, no matter how low-scoring oddsmakers project this slate.

Unders went 12-2-1 last week, so we should anticipate some high-scoring matchups in Week 7, exemplified by the Saints and Jaguars game on Thursday night, which went over 54.5 total points, after closing at 39.5. New Orleans was an under team all season until Week 7, when six touchdowns were scored, so let's ride that high-scoring momentum as we look for the best players to invest in for anytime touchdown scorers in Week 7.

NFL handicapper Matt MacKay is back with his latest anytime touchdown scorer props to wager on the NFL Week 7 slate. As always, good luck, and let's cash our slips!

Best NFL Week 7 Anytime TD Bets

Jerome Ford Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+125) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Cleveland's signature win over San Francisco should keep their confidence high entering a plus-matchup on the road against the Indianapolis Colts. Deshaun Watson's expected return under center will open up more RPO play calling from head coach Kevin Stefanski, which means golden opportunities for running backs Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt. In Week 6, Hunt was the running back who rattled off a 16-yard run to score the Browns' first touchdown, but Jerome Ford still logged 50 percent of carries, compared to 35 percent for Hunt. Ford also played 50 percent of snaps compared to Hunt's 36.8 percent snap share.

Indianapolis is among the worst run defenses in the league this season, surrendering nine rushing touchdowns through six games, tied for second-most in the league. While opponents only average 3.7 YPC, we're solely interested in Ford's ability to get red zone touches, which should be plentiful playing indoors against a porous Colts run defense. Ford scored twice against the Titans a couple of weeks ago, and another receiving touchdown against the Steelers back in Week 2. He's +125 to score a touchdown against the Colts on FanDuel, which is solid value, so let's lock in Ford's anytime touchdown scorer prop staking one unit on it.

Tyler Lockett Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+135) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

When it comes to end zone target leaders, Tyler Lockett sits at the top, earning seven targets in the end zone this season, tied for most alongside Courtland Sutton and Jordan Addison. Lockett hasn't scored since logging a pair of touchdowns, including a walk-off touchdown against the Lions in overtime back in Week 2, but he's earning six to ten targets each game.

Plus, Lockett may be playing without D.K. Metcalf, who is a game-time decision with bruised ribs and a hip injury. Arizona is among the best matchups for wide receivers this season, surrendering 6.7 net yards per pass attempt and nine receiving touchdowns, sixth-most in the league. This one feels too easy, but let's invest two units in Lockett's anytime touchdown scorer odds at +135 on FanDuel.

Jaylen Warren Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+170) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Pittsburgh's rushing attack has been anemic in 2023, as its offensive line has been outmatched in nearly every game played this season. This has negatively affected Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren, forcing Kenny Pickett to look to wideout George Pickens to create explosive plays to keep the offense in scoring position.

Warren receives the majority of targets in the passing attack, earning a 15.7 percent target share, while playing 45 percent of snaps, which is only eight percent less than Harris. His 3:1 target rate helps his prospects of finally scoring a touchdown for the first time this season against a porous Rams run defense on the road in Week 7. Los Angeles is much tougher to pass against than establishing the run, allowing 4.3 YPC and six rushing touchdowns through six games this season.

This is the perfect moment for one of the Steelers' running backs to finally score, especially coming off their Bye Week. Warren has two carries and a target in the red zone this season, compared to three carries and zero targets for Harris, so let's stake a unit on Warren's anytime touchdown scorer prop at +170 odds.

Christian Watson Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+200) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Denver looked vastly improved against the pass in Week 6 against the Chiefs, but they are still among the worst pass defenses in the league this season. Green Bay is struggling on offense, but one thing is certain, quarterback Jordan Love steadily attempts deep throws downfield.

Love targeted Romeo Doubs in Christian Watson's absence, but now that the second-year wideout is back on the field following a hamstring injury, he's drawing the vast majority of targets. Watson nearly scored against the Raiders in Week 5, so now, after their Week 6 Bye, going on the road against the Broncos, who rank first in receiving touchdowns (14) and first in most net yards per pass attempt (7.7), Watson finds himself in an enviable position.

+200 is great value for Watson's anytime touchdown scorer prop, as he's scored once in the red zone already this season against the Lions, while getting peppered with deep targets downfield as the primary vertical threat and alpha target within Green Bay's offense. Let's stake two units on Watson to score his second touchdown of the season in what projects to be one of the higher scoring matchups on the Week 7 slate.

Wan'Dale Robinson Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+500) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

We've seen Wan'Dale Robinson emerge as a featured piece of the New York Giants' offense in 2023. It has yet to culminate with a touchdown, but Robinson's explosive versatility makes him a weapon in the run and pass game.

Tyrod Taylor is likely to be the Week 7 signal caller for the Giants, moving the ball well against the Bills in Week 6, despite several miscues in the red zone. Robinson has thrived with both quarterbacks, earning targets of 5-6-6-8 since returning from injury. His snap share has also steadily increased, and he plays a multitude of positions on the field, so his matchup against the porous Washington Commanders defense is extremely enticing.

Washington ranks third for most receiving touchdowns (12) and seventh-worst in net yards per pass attempt allowed (6.6), plus, they give up 4.6 YPC to running backs, which is a role Robinson occasionally finds himself playing in. Robinson could take one to the house from far away, or cash in when the Giants are in the red zone, where he's already earned one target, converting it into a six-yard reception. None of the Giants' wideouts have seen more than three red zone targets, and Robinson is shaping up to be a huge asset in an anemic offense, so let's wager a unit on his lucrative +500 anytime touchdown odds in Week 7.
