Former North Carolina signal-caller Sam Howell leads this Commanders' offense. Howell has thrown for 1,500 yards, nine touchdowns, and six interceptions. Four of Howell's six interceptions came in one game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Running back Brian Robinson Jr. leads the Commanders backfield. He has rushed for 302 yards and three touchdowns.
Veteran wideout Terry McLaurin leads the team in receiving, racking up a team-high 342 yards.
The Washington defense has struggled, ranking 29th in points allowed per game (29.3).
New York will begin play with a 1-5 record on the season.
It has been a tough season for a New York team that made the playoffs a season ago.
The strong season earned Brian Daboll coach of the year honors and contract extensions for Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley.
Jones did not play against Buffalo a week ago but is expected to be back on action this week. Jones has struggled, throwing six interceptions compared to two touchdowns.
Barkley has dealt with injury issues of his own but returned last week against Buffalo. Barkley has rushed for 207 yards in three games with one touchdown.
Tight end Darren Waller has been the favorite target of Jones, leading the team with 282 yards.
The New York defense ranks 28th in football, allowing opponents 27.8 points per game.

The Commander's defense has really struggled and will struggle to stop Barkley and this rushing game.
