The last time I took Kirk Cousins to throw an interception on primetime he played lights out against a very good Philadelphia Eagles’ defense. The difference tonight is that he won’t have Justin Jefferson.
San Francisco has one of the best run defenses in the NFL so I don’t expect Alexander Mattison and the Vikings’ run game to be very effective. Minnesota will have to air it out to keep pace in this one which puts Cousins at a higher risk to make a mistake against a 49ers defense that leads the league in interceptions.
