The last game of Week 7 brings us to the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, where the 2-4 Minnesota Vikings host the 5-1 San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are coming off their first loss of the season and Brock Purdy's first loss as a starting quarterback, and are seven-point favorites to bounce back on the road tonight. I have a three-leg same-game parlay from DraftKings and modest odds to cash us out for +500. These three simple legs can give us a 5x return tonight. Should be easy.

Leg 1: Kirk Cousins Over 24.5 Completions
Kirk Cousins may hit 50 passing attempts or even more tonight. He's already done it once this season. When the Vikings are playing a good team, they just throw the ball a lot. It's that simple. Why? Because they don't have a great running game, and when you are playing from behind, you tend to pass it more than run it. Now that Dalvin Cook is gone, it's clear this Vikings offense is pass first.
The Vikings rank first in pass play percentage at 68.87%. They are third with 39.2 passes per game. With no real running threat, this is simply how they have to play. On top of this, this plays right into the 49ers defense. The 49ers are usually winning, which means other teams are throwing more. Additionally, they have an incredible defensive line that held opposing running backs to the lowest rushing yards per game in the league. With that, teams just have to throw on the 49ers. The 49ers defense is fourth-highest in passing attempts allowed per game with 44.7. It's that simple. Kirk may very well have 50+ attempts in this game, and he has a 67% completion rate. 25 completed passes should be easy tonight.
Leg 2: Jordan Addison 60+ Receiving Yards
Well, unfortunately for us Vikings fans, Justin Jefferson will not play tonight. The star receiver is on the IR and out for the next two weeks after this game. With that, Jordan Addison immediately became the number one receiver in this offense in my eyes. I know the Vikings have KJ Osborn as well, but he's always performed better when he's not the star of the show.
Addison has already made some big catches for the Vikings in his rookie season and has four touchdowns on the season. Kirk trusts him, and their connection has looked good so far. In the first game without JJ last week, the Vikings didn't really need Addison against the Bears, so he only finished with three receptions for 28 yards. That will not be the case this week though. The Vikings need Addison tonight, and this may be his breakout game. More importantly, when the Vikings are in a negative game script, Addison has gotten more looks. Addison has passed his original line in this game of 50.5 in all four losses, and he has passed 60 yards in three of them. Addison should have 10+ targets tonight barring an injury, and in that case, 60 yards is very doable.
Leg 3: Ray-Ray McCloud Over 14.5 Receiving Yards
Deebo Samuel is out after getting injured last week, which means Ray-Ray McCloud will take a majority of the snaps in his place. Last week, Deebo went out early, playing 15% of the snaps. Once he went out, McCloud came in and played 71% of the remaining snaps. His snap share should be roughly similar to that, which makes this line laughable.
Sure, McCloud only finished with 4 yards on 1 reception last week, but that game was a VASTLY different one than we will see tonight. For starters, The Browns rank first overall in opponent passing yards, allowing just 136 per game. They also allow just 14 completions per game, which is also the lowest in the NFL. Brock Purdy finished that game 12/27 with 125 passing yards and a pick. Brandon Aiyuk, the leading receiver, only had four receptions. Now, the 49ers are facing a Vikings secondary that allows 257 passing yards per game. So yeah, this is a much different script for the 49ers. McCloud should get around four to five targets in this game, so getting 15+ receiving yards in this game should be very, very doable for him.
