Well we are back with Monday Night Football to officially cap the halfway point in the NFL regular season and we have an exciting primetime matchup tonight. The New York Jets host the Los Angeles Chargers at MetLife Stadium tonight in a pivotal game for both squads this year.

While this Jets offense has struggled immensely this season, I do still have faith in Zach Wilson and his ability to rally this team behind him. Robert Saleh loves and trusts him, Rodgers will continue to mentor him and at the end of the day he has plenty of weapons to lean on and bail him out. The backfield tandem of Dalvin Cook, Breece Hall and Israel Abanikanda is electric and there is plethora of talent with pass catchers like Garrett Wilson, Randal Cobb, and Xavier Gipson to name a few.
I think this squad just needs to find a way to get Z dub going, get him outside the pocket and using his legs and things can start firing. Wilson is a true competitor who wants to win badly, he will continue to give every start his all and I can get behind that.
The key factor though will be this elite Jets defense. The defensive line is elite and the secondary feeds off the energy Sauce Gardner has on every snap. They are the main reason the Jets are where they are right now and have a chance to secure solo second place in the division with a win tonight after every other team lost this week.
The Chargers have so many weapons offensively and a stud quarterback to lead the team but considering the way they have struggled this season I find it hard to believe they figure it out here. The Jets defense has already feasted on Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in primetime games this season so Herbert should struggle as well. The Chargers D-Line will cause Wilson issues but I think the Jets are going to find a way again tonight.
