Panthers vs. Bears Prediction, Pick, Odds: Is Justin Fields Ready To Go For Week 10?
The Thursday Night Football matchup isn't the most appealing game on the Week 10 slate. But it's a game with value, along with some interesting storylines.
The Carolina Panthers will travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in Solider Field. Through a combined 17 games, these teams have added only three wins. But unless there's a tie, someone's got to win on Thursday.
Although the Panthers are 1-7, Carolina has the most recent win, which came on October 29. Will the Panthers add another win to the resume on Thursday?

Panthers vs. Bears Prediction
The consensus is that Justin Fields will take the field for the Bears on Thursday Night Football.
He had a thumb injury that kept him out of the game for a month. While Tyson Bagent did his best to keep the Bears competitive, he doesn't compare to Justin Fields.
Fields has thrown for 1,201 yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions in six games. But he's also rushed for 237 yards with another touchdown on 47 attempts. Fields brings a whole other dynamic to the field with his running ability.
Meanwhile, D'Onta Foreman has been a pleasant surprise for the Bears. He's rushed for 287 yards with two touchdowns on 65 attempts. Foreman has taken over the running back position while Khalil Herbert battles back from an injury.
With Carolina really struggling against the run, the Bears have a lot of potential in the run game with Fields and Foreman. While Carolina's secondary hasn't been good, the pass rush is. Fields will have to scramble away from pressure in this game.
On the other hand, the Panthers have the first overall pick, Bryce Young, under center. Young hasn't performed as well as C.J. Stroud, who was picked right after him. But he's still got plenty of time to prove the doubters wrong.
Young has thrown for eight touchdowns and seven interceptions but has a quality target in Adam Thielen, who has already caught 62 passes for 610 yards.
The Bears are better against the run. However, the passing defense is ultimately just as bad as Carolina's.
There are simply no excuses for Young in this game. The offense needs to start clicking. A game against the Bears' defense should help with that.
Meanwhile, Fields doesn't have many excuses either. If he's playing, he's healthy. He'll have a significant opportunity against a Panthers defense that has really struggled in most areas defensively.
So, while this game seems boring due to both teams having a combined three wins, I'm expecting plenty of points. Give me the Over 40.
