I usually take two touchdown picks, sometimes three, but tonight, it's just one. The over/under is 38, and we may not see that much scoring to begin with, so betting on two seems a bit hasty, given the circumstances. However, the player I do like at their current number is Tyson Bagent.
Bagent is the quarterback for the Bears who is filling in for Justin Fields, who landed on the IR in the game against the Vikings. Bagent came in and won his first NFL start against the Raiders, while also showing he can use his legs when needed. In fact, Bagent has two rushing touchdowns on the season already, and just three passing touchdowns.
Bagent is not afraid to use his legs, and he really opened up the running game last week when he had 8 carries for 70 yards. Bagent is already tied for 6th in rushing touchdowns among quarterbacks in three and a half games. He has four red zone carries and has converted two of them into six points. At +400, Bagent had the fourth-lowest odds to score, but the way he has been using his legs when down near the goal line, this line feels too high. This line is also much lower on other books, getting as low as +275 on BetMGM, so getting +400 at FanDuel is great odds.
