We've got a pick'em matchup on tap for Sunday Night Football when the Las Vegas Raiders host the New York Jets.
Oddsmakers are giving both of these teams an equal chance to win outright, as the Raiders are getting +1 ATS, making them slight home underdogs against a top-five Jets defense. Meanwhile, Zach Wilson's terrible performance in prime time a week ago against the Chargers is keeping the odds from leaning into the Jets' favor.
Interim Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce rallied the locker room for a dominant 30-6 win at home against the hapless Giants in Week 9, but the Jets present more of a challenge with a talented defense and second-year players Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson leading the way. Maxx Crosby has been playing the best of his career as the Raiders' primary edge rusher, bringing continuous pressure, which will be a big issue for an injury-decimated Jets offensive line.
This game has one of the lowest point total lines on the Week 10 slate, sitting at 36.5 total points, with juice at -115 odds on the over. Aidan O'Connell versus Zach Wilson is the quarterback matchup we'll watch unfold, but it could quickly evolve into Breece Hall vs. Josh Jacobs, as both teams are expected to lean into their rushing attack to play to their strengths on offense.

New York Jets vs. Las Vegas Raiders Prediction
Both of these teams have been cashing unders left and right this season. Each of the Raiders' last five home games have gone under the total points line, while the Jets have scored 20 combined points in their last two games. The data is harder to interpret for the Raiders' offense since most of it is from the Josh McDaniel era, but Pierce has been on the record stating that he'd like the offense to be a run-centric scheme that elevates Jacobs into a high-volume role that we saw against the Giants in Week 9.
The Jets' defense, as good as they have played, are susceptible to opposing rushing attacks. In three of its past five games, New York has allowed at least 139 rushing yards, which isn't great for containing Jacobs. O'Connell wasn't asked to do much against the Giants and he likely won't be forced to do more against an elite Jets secondary.
Hall should also have a big outing against Las Vegas, which has been chewed up for at least 123 rushing yards in three straight games. The pass defense for the Raiders is underrated, holding five of its past six opponents under 200 total passing yards. Wilson will also be an afterthought and glorified game manager, perhaps using his mobility to churn out first downs instead of his arm.
37 points isn't a high bar to cash the over. The Raiders have cleared this mark in two of its past three games played, while the Jets have gone under 34 total points in three straight games. It seems like the point total line is too low to get a good read on, so let's avoid messing with that line and move to moneyline odds. It's essentially a pick 'em, with the Raiders slight underdogs at -106 moneyline odds. The Jets are 2-1 SU on the road and teams that win their first game with an interim head coach tend to come out flat after their emotional win. It's risky, but we're going to stake a unit on New York to win outright behind Hall and the stout defense to avoid falling below .500.
