NFL Player Props Week 12: Top Thanksgiving Day Anytime TD Scorer Bets

Happy Thanksgiving! What better way to celebrate this holiday with family and friends than placing a few anytime touchdown scorer bets on the three-game NFL slate we're being treated to throughout the day.

Each game has a lot of potential for touchdowns to be scored, especially on a short week. All three of Thursday's contests are divisional matchups, starting with Detroit hosting Green Bay at noon ET. The Packers are coming off of their biggest win of the season at home over the Los Angeles Chargers, despite Aaron Jones' injuries rendering him unavailable. Jordan Love isn't afraid to throw the ball downfield to a young but talented wide receiving corps, while Detroit is 8-2 and looking to finally put on a show during Thanksgiving at home in Ford Field.

Washington has its hands full on the road in their first matchup of the season against the 7-3 Dallas Cowboys, who have elevated their offense to another level behind Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb. The pass-centric Cowboys should feast on the Commanders' pass defense, which is surrendering a league-high 24 receiving touchdowns. Sam Howell has been willing to do it all behind a bad offensive line but evading Micah Parsons and the rest of Dallas' defense will be difficult, especially without a reliable rushing attack.

The night cap is an NFC West showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. It's their first matchup of the season and the 49ers will be on the road in Seattle, with Brock Purdy throwing six touchdowns across the last two weeks, finishing Week 11 with a perfect 158.3 passer rating in a 27-14 win over Tampa Bay. The 49ers' three-game losing skid is in the rearview now that they've won two consecutive games, but they only have a one game lead over Seattle in the division, so securing a win is crucial to creating separation down the stretch.

NFL handicapper Matt MacKay is here to share his latest Week 12 anytime touchdown scorer props to wager during this three-game Thanksgiving Day NFL slate.

BEST NFL WEEK 12 THANKSGIVING ANYTIME TD BETS

AMON-RA ST. BROWN ANYTIME TD SCORER (+105) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

We've seen Amon-Ra St. Brown continue his development into one of the league's top wide receivers. Playing in his third year in the league, St. Brown's rapid growth is a testament to the personnel and coaching around him in Detroit. The Lions' WR1 already scored a touchdown against Green Bay on the road back in Week 4 and he's scored five total touchdowns entering Week 12. This includes back-to-back games with a touchdown reception against the Chargers and Bears.

Green Bay's secondary is banged up, missing safety Darnell Savage, cornerback Eric Stokes, and potentially Jaire Alexander. Jared Goff has peppered St. Brown with targets, earning 9-19 targets in each of his past five games played. There will be plenty of opportunity to cash in on St. Brown's anytime touchdown scorer odds, especially with 13 red zone targets leading to three of his five touchdowns this season. Lock in St. Brown to score an anytime touchdown against the Packers at +105 odds.

GEORGE KITTLE ANYTIME TD SCORER (+190) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

San Francisco's offense is heating up again and George Kittle factors into downfield targets early and often. It's a hyper-efficient West Coast system under head coach Kyle Shanahan, so touches are a bit limited for every skilled position player. However, Kittle has drawn nine and 11 targets in two of his past three games.

Kittle plays better when Deebo Samuel is healthy and on the field, which is currently the case. With so many weapons to account for, Kittle is often lost in coverage, which is when Purdy finds his second favorite target within the offense based on the passing volume we've seen through 10 games. Kittle scored two touchdowns against Seattle in Week 15 last season with Purdy under center, so expect him to return to the end zone for the sixth time this season against a Seahawks secondary dealing with injuries to some key pieces. +190 is way too lucrative to pass up, especially with Kittle's historical dominance against Seattle, so let's add this to our bet slips ahead of kickoff on Thursday night.

BRANDIN COOKS ANYTIME TD SCORER (+250) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Dallas' passing attack has fully come alive in the past few games, which has led to Brandin Cooks producing at a higher rate than earlier in the season. The Cowboys' WR2 was acquired this offseason to take some pressure off of CeeDee Lamb, and when he earns targets, Cooks tends to make the most of them, scoring all three of his 2023 touchdowns across Dallas' last five games played.

CeeDee Lamb garners most of the defensive coverage, rightfully so, but this allows Cooks to use his speed, vision, and experienced route-running ability to find open space for Dak Prescott to find him for big chunk plays, including in the red zone. Cooks only has four targets in the red zone this year, hauling in two receptions, which both went for touchdowns. Washington's porous secondary is a turnstile for opposing wideouts, so expect Prescott to distribute the football efficiently, rewarding Cooks with six to ten targets, including more volume in the red zone, cashing a nice +250 anytime touchdown wager for us at the Thanksgiving table.

JAYDEN REED ANYTIME TD SCORER (+260) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Packers' rookie wideout Jayden Reed has begun to make a name for himself in recent weeks. Reed saw six targets in Week 11 against the Chargers, tied for most on the team alongside Romeo Doubs and tight end Luke Musgrave, who is now hurt indefinitely, opening up more volume in Green Bay's passing attack.

Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs have also been effective lately, scoring touchdowns against the Chargers during the Packers' statement win at Lambeau Field last weekend. However, Reed's versatility as a ball carrier, combined with his target share, makes him a unique prospect to bet on for an anytime touchdown scorer. Reed scored a rushing touchdown in Week 11, his second consecutive week finding the end zone, but first as a ball carrier.

Now, Reed has less competition for touches and faces a Lions pass defense allowing 6.1 net passing yards per attempt, seventh-most in the league. Detroit's allowed 16 receiving touchdowns this year, sixth-most in the NFL. The Lions have allowed five wide receivers to score touchdowns in their last two games against the Chargers and Bears, so it feels like a good time to capitalize on a porous pass defense facing an increasingly pass-centric Green Bay offense. +260 is fantastic odds for an anytime touchdown scorer, so let's jump on Jayden Reed to score for the third straight game on Thanksgiving Day.
