NFL Betting Picks: Targeting the Chicago Bears and the Dallas Cowboys

We are creating some value here with a teaser today and I am willing to wait a few days to cash this one so let's get after it.

Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings Prediction

Well I am not very crazy about this line at 3/3.5 as I do see this game as virtually a toss up so I am going to buy some points on the dog and I love the line we are getting here now. The Chicago Bears are bad but they are not the Carolina Panthers, they have a solid defense and some weapons offensively that can cause havoc from time-to-time. Despite a rough record, across the last five weeks the Bears have played good football.

Only once in the last four weeks did Chicago not win or at least keep it within the number we are playing and in the 30-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, undrafted rookie Tyler Bagent was under center and threw two picks with no touchdown passes. Justin Fields is a significant upgrade from Bagent and should be a factor in keeping us inside this number tonight.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction

Geno Smith has done a good job under center for the Seattle Seahawks but he is the less talented quarterback here and does have limitations. Seattle has lost three straight road games scoring a total of 29 points and the road they are climbing gets tougher tonight taking on the Dallas Cowboys on their own turf.

Dallas has won every home game this season (all five) by at least twenty points and as many as 35. I do not think they turbo clock the Seahawks but would be surprised if we did not see another conniving Dallas victory in Texas.
