There are some intriguing matchups on the board for Week 13. I'm eager to hit a three-team parlay against the spread.
I'm feeling good about the parlay I've constructed for this week. Tail along below!
Week 13 NFL Parlay
Los Angeles Chargers -6 (-110)
The New England Patriots have no offense. They've used Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe and have scored just 13 points in the last eight quarters.
I know the Chargers have given up many yards on the defensive end. Brandon Staley is stubborn and won't allow anyone else to call plays defensively. His time is running out. However, I still think the pass rush for the Chargers will be good enough to force some turnovers out of the Patriots' quarterbacks.
Meanwhile, Justin Herbert and the Chargers have too much talent to continue being mediocre on offense. This is the game where Los Angeles breaks out on the road. The Patriots stink. The tank is in for that team.
Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (-108)
The Browns haven't decided on a quarterback yet. Dorian Thompson-Robinson is in concussion protocol and could miss this game. Therefore, the Browns must choose between P.J. Walker or recently signed veteran Joe Flacco.
That's not appealing.
Meanwhile, the Rams just returned Kyren Williams, who added over 200 yards all-purpose yards in his first game back at running back. Matthew Stafford looks healthy, and Cooper Kupp remaining in the starting lineup despite an ankle injury. That's all positive news for the Rams. Los Angeles is also back in the playoff race. I like them to earn a home win here.
Kansas City Chiefs -6 (-110)
I'm not buying the Packers hype yet. The offense is still very questionable, despite adding 29 points against the Lions on the road in Thanksgiving.
All of the signs pointed to the Packers earning an upset in that game. But against the Chiefs, it's way more unlikely.
The Chiefs have held four of their last five opponents to no more than 21 points. Jordan Love hasn't shown any signs of consistency and will have different blitzes thrown at him all game.
On the other hand, the Chiefs have found their No. 1 receiver in Rashee Rice. They also got Travis Kelce more involved last week. If they continue to improve offensively, the sky is the limit for the Chiefs.
