The star of the show has been Tony Pollard, who took the reigns as RB1 from Ezekiel Elliot, who went to the New England Patriots this offseason. However, Pollard had a slow start to his season, and fourth-year Cowboy Rico Dowdle has gotten his fair share of opportunities. Funny enough, the two have the exact same 4.2 yards per rush this season, but Pollard has 423 more carries.
Still, Dowdle has just one less touchdown on the season. Dowdle has three touchdowns to Pollard's four. Pollard has not been very productive in the red zone, and Dowdle has managed one fewer touchdown with 32 fewer red zone touches. Dowdle also has been the better receiving back in the red zone, as he has two receiving touchdowns on three targets, while Pollard has zero scores through the air. Pollard is the most juiced player to score tonight, so I like my odds with Dowdle, who is nearly three-to-one despite having just one fewer touchdown on the season.
Tyler Lockett Anytime Touchdown Scorer +270 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
With Kenneth Walker out, it will be a wide receiver show for the Seahawks tonight. No other running back has a touchdown for the Seahawks besides Walker, and tight ends have not been a popular option for Geno in the red zone either.
Instead, the wideouts have dominated the red zone attention, tallying 36 targets inside the 20. By far, Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf have been the most used in the red zone, and Lockett leads the team with seven red zone receptions. He also leads the team with four touchdowns, yet is higher odds to score tonight than Metcalf.
At the high odds of 2.7/1, I like the leading red zone receiver to score for the Seahawks in this game. Lockett also has big play ability and could hit this if he breaks out over the top for a big play touchdown outside the red zone.
