New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction

New England enters play as one of the worst teams in football.

Head coach Bill Belichick is paced to have his worst year as the head coach of the Patriots.

The Patriots bring an overall record of 2-10 into play.

The New England offense has scored just 13 points in the last three games.

The Pats were shut out at home a week ago against the Chargers.

The QB position has been the biggest issue for the Patriots as the team has benched Mac Jones and will turn to Bailey Zappe.

Zappe has thrown for 299 yards on the season, paired with two interceptions.

New England is expected to be without starting running back Rhamondre Stevenson.

That will force Zeke Elliott into a larger role. Zeke has rushed for 429 yards and two touchdowns.

Former Liberty Flame, Demario Douglas, leads the Patriots in receiving yards with 410.

The Patriots defense ranks 15th in points allowed per game (21.2).

Pittsburgh will enter play with a record of 7-5.

The Steelers are the No. 5 seed in the AFC as it stands.

Pittsburgh has been outgained in six of their seven wins this year.

The Steelers have outgained their opponents in the last two games since the team fired former offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

Pittsburgh will be without their starting quarterback, Kenny Pickett, tonight.

The Pickett injury will allow Mitchell Trubisky to take over this Steelers offense. The former North Carolina Tarbell has thrown for 273 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Running back Najee Harris leads the team in rushing. Harris has racked up 661 yards and four touchdowns.

Wide reviver George Pickens has been the top option in the passing game. Pickens has hauled in 78 passes worth 748 yards and three touchdowns.

The Steelers defense ranks sixth in points allowed per game (16.1).

New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Pick

This should be a rock fight of a game that will favor the underdog.

I can not get myself to lay six points with Mitch Trubisky.

The Patriots have a good defense that is capable of getting stops and setting up the Patriot's offense in a good field position.

The New England offense can only look better with Zappe at the helm.

The Patriots will be able to do enough to stay close in this game.
