5 minTexans vs. Jets Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Zach Wilson Spark Jets' Offense?
The Jets have made it official.
They'll start Zach Wilson after benching him for the previous two weeks for Tim Boyle.
Things got so bad for the Jets that Boyle was cut. Therefore, Wilson will get another opportunity to showcase his ability on Sunday.
This time, it's with the Jets at 4-8. New York doesn't have playoff implications. With that, you can expect the Jets to be more aggressive with Wilson. They'll unleash his arm talent and try to make plays without worrying about an interception.
Wilson needs to have fun playing football again. This Sunday will be the closest to fun.
The Jets will take on the Houston Texans squad that is vying for a playoff spot. Can New York make it a little harder on the Texans this weekend?

Texans vs. Jets Prediction
The Houston Texans lost an essential piece of their offense last weekend. Rookie Tank Dell is out for the year with a leg injury. He has a fractured fibula and is on the injured reserve.
That won't help the Texans, who are going up against one of the best secondaries in football.
The Jets have only allowed 176.58 yards per game in the air this season. However, on the ground, New York has allowed 136.08 yards per game.
The defense has been phenomenal. But they're getting tired. The Jets typically get off the field, watch the offense go three-and-out, and then retake the field.
Eventually, the defense gets worn down and can't get stops. That's been happening recently.
The Jets have scored only 14.25 points per game this season. With Zach Wilson under center, there will be more optimism on offense. Wilson even told the media that he's ready to have fun and enjoy himself.
There's no pressure anymore. The Jets were awful this season and won't make the playoffs. Now he's got five weeks to command this New York offense and start taking shots down the field.
He was scared to do that earlier in the year. He didn't want to put the Jets in a bad position. But now, the coaching staff is basically telling him to go out there and make a mistake or two. They don't care.
With the Jets' defense starting to get tired and Wilson expected to launch the football down the field, the Over is an intriguing play.
While Stroud doesn't have Tank Dell around, the Texans have a solid running back duo between Devin Singletary and Dameon Pierce. They've also got two reliable receivers who have had significant success when healthy this season in Nico Collins and Noah Brown.
There won't be a ton of massive plays in the air for Houston. But I think the Texans can score enough behind the NFL's next Rookie of the Year.
Let's back the Over 33.5.
