5 minJets vs. Patriots Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Bailey Zappe, Patriots Make It 16 Straight Wins Over the Jets?
The New York Jets and New England Patriots have nothing to play for in Week 18.
Except for the fact that the Patriots have a winning streak of 15 straight games against the Jets.
This could be New York's best chance at pulling off an upset over the Patriots. This might even be Bill Belichick's final game as head coach of the Patriots. I'm sure the Jets would love to send Belichick away as a loser against the Jets.
But does New York have enough to finish the job on the road in Week 18?

Jets vs. Patriots Prediction
No matter the circumstances, the Patriots always dominate the Jets.
It's been 15 straight games. The Patriots have won 15 consecutive games against the Jets.
They even escaped in Week 3 with a 15-10 win against New York this year. That was one of Mac Jones' only wins as a Patriots quarterback this year.
Since Jones was benched, the Patriots have had more success offensively under Bailey Zappe. Zappe has thrown for 1,184 yards with six touchdowns and seven interceptions.
The turnovers aren't good, and his QBR also isn't very good at 33.5. However, he's thrown for at least 209 yards in three of his last four games and has completed over 63% of his passes this season.
On the other hand, the Jets are known for their defense. However, New York is starting to fatigue on that side of the ball. The Jets have allowed at least 28 points in each of their last three games.
The most shocking one was Thursday's beatdown from the Browns after the Jets allowed 37 points to former quarterback Joe Flacco. New York only won a single game with Flacco, but the Browns are putting together ridiculous numbers with Flacco at quarterback.
It shows you how badly the Jets have coached under the Robert Saleh era.
Maybe it'll all be better with Aaron Rodgers back. But he won't be back until next year. The Jets will settle with Trevor Siemian for Week 18 and won't put Zach Wilson into the game for the final regular season matchup.
I'd rather Zappe over Siemian. I also think New England's defense looks better than New York's over the last few games.
Give me the Patriots at -2.5. The streak will continue.
