Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills Player Prop Pick: Can Stefon Diggs Go Off in AFC Wild Card Game?

The Pittsburgh Steelers will clash with the Buffalo Bills this afternoon for a highly anticipated playoff matchup.

These are two teams that many wrote off midway through the season.

Both of these teams needed a strong close to their seasons to be in the playoffs.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills Prediction

Buffalo won seven of their last eight games, including a win at Miami in the final game of the season to earn an AFC East Championship.

Pittsburgh needed to win their last two games and needed some help from other teams.

The Steelers took care of business in both games and got the help they needed to find their way into the postseason.

Mike Tomlin deserves a ton of credit for the job that he has done this season with this limited roster.

The Steelers are on their third-string quarterback, Mason Rudolph. Rudolph has played well since taking over as the starter but will undoubtedly have his most challenging task of the season vs this Bills defense.

The Steelers have leaned on running back Najee Harris in the last two games. Harris has had 53 attempts in his last two games, racking up 234 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

The Bills rank 15th against the run, allowing opponents 110.6 yards per game.

Pittsburgh will need their receivers to step up, most notably George Pickens. Pickens leads the team with 1,140 yards but did not have one catch in the Steelers' last game against the Ravens.

The Steelers will be without their best player on defense, TJ Watt, which means they will need other guys to step up in his absence.

Buffalo is as hot as any team in football.

The playoffs have been an issue for the Bills, but the path is there this season.

If Buffalo can win this afternoon, they will host the Kansas City Chiefs with a trip to the AFC Championship on the line.

Josh Allen has delivered a strong season, but turnovers have been an issue for Allen. Allen has thrown 18 interceptions this season, the second most in football.

James Cook has delivered a strong campaign for the Bills. Buffalo is at their best when Cook is effective in the rushing game.

Stefon Diggs has had an up-and-down season by his standards. Diggs leads the team with 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills Player Prop Pick

This number is too low for the Bills' No. 1 option.

While the conditions are far from perfect, Buffalo will still throw the football often.

The Bills are without their number two option, Gabe Davis, which means Diggs will take on an even more prominent role.

Diggs has gone under this number in four of his last five games, which makes this a tremendous buy-low spot.

The Steelers have struggled against the pass, ranking 17th in passing yards allowed per game (227.1).
