NFL Player Props Divisional Round: Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

The first of four NFL Divisional Round games will be held at M&T Bank Stadium, as the AFC's No. 1 seed, the Baltimore Ravens, get set to host C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans.

Few expected the Texans to be competitive right away following the acquisition of C.J. Stroud and Will Andersen Jr. with two top-five draft picks this past offseason, but the addition of head coach Demeco Ryans appears to have been the perfect recipe for Houston to turn their franchise around. Baltimore is back in the playoffs under head coach John Harbaugh, who led the Ravens to a Super Bowl victory roughly a decade ago. This time, he's doing it with Lamar Jackson, whose last outing saw the regular season MVP favorite toss five touchdown passes in a dominant blowout over Miami.

Oddsmakers are laying 9.5 points with the Ravens at home, signaling that Houston is a longshot to pull off another outright upset. However, don't discount Stroud and the offense, even without some of their top weapons, as the Texans are a resilient group that finds ways to win football games. Each defense specializes in a particular area, but there is plenty of opportunity to cash a few anytime touchdown wagers in the NFL player props market.

NFL handicapper Matt MacKay is here to share his AFC Divisional round anytime touchdown scorer picks to bet ahead of Saturday's 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Good luck!

BEST NFL DIVISIONAL ROUND ANYTIME TD BETS: TEXANS VS. RAVENS

GUS EDWARDS ANYTIME TD SCORER (+120) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Baltimore's run-centric scheme results in a heavy dose of Gus Edwards. Serving as the Ravens' RB1, Edwards is primarily deployed as a battering ram at the goal-line, scoring 13 rushing touchdowns in 17 regular season games in 2023. Houston's run defense has been much better in the latter half of the season, but their pass defense allows big play explosives, which means Baltimore will be moving the football into the red zone early and often.

Edwards is the focal point of the offense when the Ravens get near the goal-line, so getting +120 odds on his anytime touchdown scorer prop is a massive steal in terms of value. Let's stake a unit on Edwards to rumble into the end zone against a Texans run defense that has allowed 19 rushing touchdowns, which is the most of any team remaining in the playoffs.

DEVIN SINGLETARY ANYTIME TD SCORER (+130) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Houston's lack of run game early in the 2023 season kept them one-dimensional. The emergence of Devin Singletary as the Texans' RB1 has been huge for the success of the offense, as defenses now have to account for a competent run game. Baltimore's pass defense is exceptional, while their run defense leave a bit to be desired.

The Ravens have allowed over 120 rushing yards in four of their past five games played, with Najee Harris, Christian McCaffrey, and De'Von Achane all finding the end zone as running backs during this late-season sample size. C.J. Stroud is a prolific passing talent but he's not the same on the road compared to playing at home indoors. Houston will be in the red zone a couple of times in this AFC Divisional round matchup, where Singletary will either be fed carries or targets to score his third consecutive touchdown. +130 is more than enough to draw us into Singletary's anytime touchdown scorer prop, so let's stake a unit accordingly.

ZAY FLOWERS ANYTIME TD SCORER (+150) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Among all of Baltimore's personnel, rookie wideout Zay Flowers has stood out the most late in the season. Flowers' quick-twitch ability allows him to create separation on routes, while also producing chunk plays as a ball carrier on designed runs. Since Week 13, Flowers has scored at least one touchdown in four of five games.

Yes, the volume fluctuates, but Flowers tends to make the most of his opportunities, converting all three targets against Miami for 106 yards and a touchdown in Week 17. He scored as a ball carrier and a receiver against the Chargers, while also scoring a touchdown against the Rams' stout pass defense and converting 13 targets into nine receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown against the 49ers.

Flowers should feast against a leaky Texans pass defense, getting the football in a variety of ways to extend his touchdown streak to three consecutive games on Saturday afternoon. +150 is great value to acquire, so let's stake a unit on Flowers' anytime touchdown scorer prop at FanDuel Sportsbook.

ISAIAH LIKELY ANYTIME TD SCORER (+200) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The other Ravens skilled position player who is absolutely on fire right now is tight end Isaiah Likely. With Mark Andrews still expected to be sidelined with an injury, Likely has been crushing it within Baltimore's offense. Lamar Jackson is fond of his tight ends, so Likely should benefit greatly as a result, especially against a Texans defense that surrendered 158 receiving yards to Cleveland's tight ends during the Wild Card round.

Likely has scored a touchdown in four of his last five games, including two against Miami, while only drawing two and three targets in his final two games of the regular season. Likely could see way more volume than this though, plus he's the primary red zone asset in the Ravens' passing attack. Let's hammer Likely's anytime touchdown scorer prop at +200 odds on Saturday afternoon.
