Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs Prediction
In the offseason, the Chiefs added more talent to this offense. Former Ravens receiver Hollywood Brown inked a contract with the Chiefs. Brown racked up 574 yards last season, but is not expected to play tonight due to injury.
The Chiefs will have to turn to speedy rookie WR Xavier Worthy, who was selected in the first round of the draft. Worthy was a standout at the University of Texas, and just set the combine 40-yard dash record with a blazing 4.21-second sprint.
Veteran Travis Kelce returns as the top option in the passing game. The biggest question entering the year is if the Chiefs can be as dominant on defense as they were a season ago, where KC ranked second in points allowed per game (17.0).
John Harbaugh's squad will have revenge on their minds after being beaten in the AFC Championship last year by KC. Lamar Jackson has led some great Ravens teams, but the Ravens have yet to reach the Super Bowl in Jackson's era.
