The Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs meet at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Thursday Night. That's right, after what has seemed like forever, the NFL is back!

Tonight’s Thursday Night Football game will be a rematch of last year's AFC Championship, which the Chiefs won 17-10. From there, KC went on to win its third Super Bowl of the Mahomes-Reid era.

This year, the Chiefs look to become the first team ever to win three consecutive Super Bowls. They come into the season as the betting favorite to repeat with Super Bowl odds sitting at +575.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs Prediction

Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes leads this dynamic Chiefs offense once again as we enter the 2024 season. Mahomes threw for 4,183 yards, 27 touchdowns, and a career-high 14 interceptions in 2023.

Former Rutgers standout Isiah Pachecho leads the Chiefs' rushing attack. The Vineland, New Jersey native ripped off a career-high 935 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023.

Of course, the offense runs through veteran tight end Travis Kelce. Kelce returns as the top option in the passing game and should see another massive workload this year.

I'm excited to see how rookie WR Xavier Worthy looks in the KC offense. Can he play a role similar to that of Tyreek Hill when he was in KC? Worthy collected 1,014 yards last season at Texas and ran the fastest-ever 40-yard dash time at the combine.

KC ranked second in points allowed per game last season (17.0). I expect their defense to be a force again but I do think we see some regression.

On the other side of the field, Baltimore comes into the season looking to bounce back after a disappointing end to their season. The Ravens went 13-4 a year ago and claimed another AFC North title, but the season came to a close in the AFC Championship.

Head coach John Harbaugh knows his team can compete for a title this season. The Ravens' Super Bowl odds are the third-best in football (+1000) for a good reason.

MVP Lamar Jackson leads the Baltimore offense. Jackson threw for a career-best 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Additionally, Jackson ran for 821 yards and five touchdowns. He's a dual-threat QB we haven't seen since the days of Michael Vick.

On top of that, veteran Derick Henry joins this dynamic Ravens rushing game. Henry has been one of the best running backs in football over the last five seasons, totaling 9,502 yards and 90 touchdowns in his career.

Second-year wide receiver Zay Flowers looks to be a huge part of the offense as well. He racked up 858 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs Pick

From a talent point standout, these teams are evenly matched, so I will gladly take the three points with Lamar Jackson and the best defensive unit in football.

Jackson will have his way vs this KC defense, which will regress a bit from last season.

Our oddschecker+ Betting Splits Tool shows us that 73% of the bets are on the KC moneyline while showing us 68 percent of the money is on the Ravens moneyline.

We will ride the sharp spot tonight.
