5 minRavens vs. Chiefs Best Bets Today: Thursday's Same-Game Parlay from Calling Our Shot
Welcome to the best Same Game Parlay you can place on Thursday Night Football, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. We typically stick to MLB with these daily articles, but with the NFL returning, we had to get involved. This Ravens-Chiefs game should be awesome. Let's make some money while watching!
THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL'S PARLAY
LEG 1: Lamar Jackson 60+ Rushing Yards
Our first leg of the parlay is Lamar Jackson to rush for 60+ Yards. Lamar talked this offseason about losing weight and becoming faster...and he did just that. Now, he has a back-field mate that is much more intimidating than Gus Edwards in Derrick Henry. Lamar can get us 60 yards in this game, especially on the road, where he will not want to force the ball into traffic. Tuck and run!
LEG 2: Travis Kelce 70+ Receiving Yards
Our second leg of the parlay is Travis Kelce to record 70+ receiving yards. It wasn't a great 2023 campaign for Kelce statistically, but it did end in a Super Bowl...so that doesn't matter. I still believe this is the best Tight End in the NFL. He will show up in this Thursday Night Game. He also has more weapons around him to make life more difficult on the Ravens than just focusing on him.
LEG 3: Derrick Henry Anytime TD Scorer
Our third leg of the parlay involves Derrick Henry scoring a touchdown. We need King Henry to find the endzone in his Ravens debut. With Lamar as a threat in the red zone, defenses will be caught off guard stopping Henry near the goal line this season. Henry will get it done for us.
LEG 4: Patrick Mahomes 200+ Passing Yards
Our fourth and final leg: Mahomes to throw for 200 or more yards. This is still a tough defense that Mahomes will face, but he's the best QB in the league and now has a shiny new toy in Xavier Worthy. I'm confident they use him to create more space for the rest of the receivers. 200+ should be easy. Come on Mahomes.
