6 minThursday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Scorers: Can Travis Kelce, Isaiah Likely Find the Endzone on TNF?
The seven month wait is finally over, and the NFL will grace televisions across America at 8:30 pm eastern tonight. Patrick Mahomes will square off with Lamar Jackson, and will battle to see who can find their weapons in the endzone.
We'll be checking in ahead of every prime time game this year with our best anytime touchdown scorer bets. Tonight's matchup is loaded with stars, so let's get into it with the top selections for Ravens vs. Chiefs.
It's important to note that the amount of touchdown scorers will vary greatly depending on the defenses and point total of each matchup. We arrive to this one with a 46.5 total that hasn't moved much in the leadup. I personally lean toward the under with rusty offenses and two star-studded playoff defenses, so I'm not expecting a ton of scorers tonight. Two of these selections are heavily plus-odds, and it's highly unlikely that they will both reach the end zone. However, they possess great value individually, and it will lead to strong profitability if one of the longshots cashes.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs Prop Picks
1. Isaiah Likely +550 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Isiah Likely is entering his third season with the Ravens, and found his groove last year in the absence of Mark Andrews. Just because the star tight end is back in the rotation to start off 2024, that doesn’t mean John Harbaugh and the Ravens staff is just going to forget about the progress Likely made last year. They run a lot of two touchdown sets, and Likely will be on the field a lot in the red zone to put more pressure on the Chiefs. He had good synergy with Lamar throughout their strong offensive campaign last year, and is always a threat to score. And don’t forget, Derrick Henry liked to run the fake dive pop pass on the goal line in Tennessee. The ravens could always pull that play out of a hat and dump it to Likely on the one yard line if they want to get tricky tonight. At these odds of +550, we aren’t going to pass up a major part of the Baltimore offense for a sprinkle, even in a low scoring showdown.
2. Rashod Bateman +430 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Rashod Bateman has been making the rounds on social media this week for some deeper analytics that may boost him in this position. The Chiefs defense will be primarily focusing on stopping Derrick Henry and Lamar from gashing them on the ground. But after that, the focus turns to Mark Andrews and the speedy youngster Zay Flowers out wide. While Bateman won’t be getting action on every snap, his average separation score is something to note. He has been one of the best at getting open, and is entering his fourth season in somewhat of a veteran role on this offense. He only had one touchdown last year, so it’s not overly likely that he scores here in an under scenario, but we are going to take a chance on him in this spot for smaller units to find a gap in the defense and catch the Chiefs looking the other way at Flowers.
3. Travis Kelce +115 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Chiefs superstar is back for another year at 35. He has his world famous girlfriend and lucrative podcast deal to worry about outside of football, but he's been the model of consistency on the field. Much has been made about his old age in the offseason and a potential limiting of snaps, but he is still Travis Kelce. In a crowded room of receivers and new weapons, Patrick Mahomes has enjoyed spreading the ball around the field to keep defenses on their toes. However, Kelce is still his favorite target and will be as long as he is on this roster. Even if Kelce was to get limited snaps, he will still be on the field in every red zone set, and might be even fresher than usual to get in the end zone.
