FanDuel Same-Game Parlay - Rams vs. Lions

Leg 1: Cooper Kupp 70+ receiving yards

You'll notice a theme here for this one, and that's intentional. I'm high on the Rams tonight and think they can go into Detroit and put up big numbers. So, I'm hammering Kupp, Puka Nacua and Matthew Stafford props.

Kupp is coming off a rare down season. He started off the year nursing an injury and never really got back into the swing of things. However, all accounts of the veteran WR in training camp say he looks fantastic. I expect Matthew Stafford to find Kupp early and often as he returns to Detroit and plays in front of Lions fans again. 70 is not a hard mark to hit for one of the NFL's best wideouts.

Leg 2: Puka Nacua 70+ receiving yards

Puka Nacua burst onto the scene in 2023. Many thought that it was because of Cooper Kupp's absence and that once Kupp returned, Nacua would naturally slow down. Unfortunately for the Rams' opponents that never happened.

Nacua finished his rookie season with an insane 105 catches on 160 targets and 1,486 receiving yards. He had 70 or more receiving yards in 11 games last season. Stafford should have no issue finding him tonight.

Leg 3: Puka Nacua Anytime TD

You could put either Kupp of Nacua in this spot but I favor Nacua to find the endzone tonight. In last year's one-point postseason loss to the Lions, Nacua had 181 yards and nine catches and scored a TD. He was almost unstoppable and I expect the same thing tonight. Sean McVay is a master at finding space for his receivers and tonight Nacua and Kupp likely both score but I'm backing Nacua.

Leg 4: Matthew Stafford over 273.5 passing yards

A year ago, this was an atrocious Detroit secondary as they ranked 27th in the NFL in passing defense. When these two teams met in the playoffs, Stafford torched the Lions for 367 yards and 2 TD. The good news for Detroit is that this is a new unit this season. The bad news is we have no clue how this unit will play together.

Brian Branch has moved from nickel to a spot where he'll roam but play safety more often than not. Carlton Davis III comes over from Tampa Bay to play outside corner and rookie CB Terrion Arnold will start on the other side.

This is a tough wide receiver unit to be testing a new secondary against. Give me Stafford to break this number easily.
