Bet 365 Same-Game Parlay - Jets vs. 49ers
Leg 1: Garrett Wilson Anytime TD Scorer
We're kicking tonight's same game parlay off with a targeted selection on Garrett Wilson. He will be the main theme of this parlay, as he's poised to be the main star of this Jets' offense. They don't have many other reliable stars to focus on, and Wilson will play the Cooper Kupp-esque role for this team, getting the majority of action.
His receiving total is 68.5, so we are going to get a slight boost in the odds by taking him 75+. If he starts strong with his connection to Aaron Rodgers, he can fly past this total tonight on Monday Night Football.
Leg 2: Aaron Rodgers 300+ Passing Yards
Aaron Rodgers ruptured his Achilles on the Jets' very first drive last year, all but ending his season and their hopes for a Super Bowl. Now at 40 years old, he is back to try and lead them to the promised land. It starts tonight, and he will need to sling the rock if the Jets are going to pull an upset against the Niners.
San Francisco was in the middle of the road in passing defense last year, allowing 221 yards per game, much different than the Jets defense allowing just 168 ypg. We're going to expect that Rodgers can exploit some of that secondary now that he's healthy, and will make a statement on MNF to show the league that he's back and ready to lead the Jets.
Leg 3: Garrett Wilson 75+ Receiving Yards
To springboard off that second leg, Garrett Wilson will be the main recipient of Rodgers' throws. While we haven't truly seen them in action together in a regular season game, we know that Rodgers has great chemistry with Wilson in practice, and will look to target him early and often. He was targeted 168 times last year, even with terrible quarterbacks, and that will not change tonight for this Jets' offense. Expect Wilson to rack up the yards if the Jets are going to pull this road upset.
Leg 4: Aaron Rodgers 2+ Passing Touchdowns
We're finishing the SGP strong with another look at Aaron Rodgers. We are already targeting Wilson to catch at least one of his touchdowns, so for this to hit, he's going to have to throw one other. It could be to Wilson again, or on a swing pass to Breece Hall, or even to his old Packers' teammate Allen Lazard. He will have options tonight, and the Jets will need him to pass for two touchdowns at least to out play this 49ers group on the road.
