6 minMonday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Scorers: Can Breece Hall, Deebo Samuel Deliver in MNF Showdown?
NFL Week 1 has been very good to us so far, and the gains were plentiful last night in the Rams vs. Lions game. We hit all three touchdown scorers with Jahmyr Gibbs, Cooper Kupp, and Jameson Williams plunging into the end zone on Sunday Night Football, wrapping up a 5-3 day on the gridiron for TD scorers.
Now it's time to officially finish the week strong, and we have just the game to do it. The New York Jets will head out west for a Week 1 clash against the San Francisco 49ers. The two teams have massive expectations and their eyes on a Super Bowl, but they haven't played met since 2020. Which stars will find a way to score on Monday Night Football and break open this defensive battle? Let's check out the latest anytime touchdown scorer odds for Jets vs. 49ers.
It's important to note that the amount of touchdown scorers will vary greatly depending on the defenses and point total of each matchup. We have a low 43.5 total tonight, and we’re not expecting a ton of scores with these top-ranked defenses. I’m leaning toward the under with some of the best defenders in the league on each side, and some offenses that have a lot of warming up to do. As a result, there won't be a lot of celebrating in the end zone tonight, but we will try to put ourselves in position to hit at least two of these three plus-money anytime TD scorers.

New York Jets vs. San Francisco 49ers Prop Picks
1. Breece Hall +130 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The New York Jets will need everything they can get out of Breece Hall tonight, who will look to build off of the strong end to last season. He had four touchdowns in his last three games, after failing to reach the end zone for a large portion of the season. The third-year back also bulked up in the offseason, and looks ready to be a strong NFL rusher this year with a ton of carries. Hall will benefit from the return of Aaron Rodgers, as the pass game will earn more respect than it had with Zach Wilson or the other backups under center. The Niners defense will be forced to focus on Rodgers and Garrett Wilson, opening up the box for Breece Hall. He's also been great as a receiver out of the backfield, giving him an even higher chance of finding the end zone tonight in San Fran.
2. Deebo Samuel +165 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
We're going to go with Deebo Samuel for our second scorer here, who is always a solid option because of the versatile role he plays in this Niners offense. The 49ers had some trouble in the summer trying to resign Brandon Aiyuk, and the deal only just got done last week. Aiyuk will still play, but has not been building chemistry with the offense all offseason, and has some work to catch up on. Samuel should be more of a focus in the game plan tonight, and will also get some red zone carries with Christian McCaffrey banged up.
3. George Kittle +200 Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
We're going to take a bit of a longer-shot on George Kittle in this spot. As previously mentioned, I'm not anticipating a lot of scorers in this MNF matchup. These two defenses are some of the best in the league, and while there are a few stars on each side, they are going to be locked in on each other. Kittle racked up over 1,000 yards last year, but struggled to recreate his touchdown production from 2022. He still notched six total, and he will be looking for more in 2024 despite being 30 years old now. The reason we are targeting this spot is that one of the only flaws of the Jets defense last year was against tight ends. They were 7th-worst against the position last year overall, and allowed the fourth-most touchdowns to TE's. Let's see if Kittle can get one in the red zone tonight.
