Week 2 Anytime TD Picks: Targeting Amon-Ra St. Brown, Josh Jacobs and Others in Week 2

The 2024 NFL season is back for another round on Sunday afternoon after a some low-scoring games in Week 1. There are some larger spreads here in Week 2 with many home teams favored by a touchdown or more. They will be able to run up the score against weaker opponents, giving us more openings for anytime touchdown scorers.

We are back with more anytime touchdown scorers after starting 10-7 so far through Week 1. Who will be the big winners to find the end zone in Sunday daytime action? Let's break down the top anytime touchdown scorer bets for Week 2.

Best NFL Week 2 Anytime TD Bets

Amon-Ra St. Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

The Detroit Lions will host the Tampa Bay Bucs on Sunday afternoon, who they had great success against last year. The Lions beat the Bucs by two scores in October, and then handled them again in the playoffs. The main reason to thank for that is Amon-Ra St. Brown absolutely tearing up this normally stout Tampa Bay defense. In the two matchups, he caught 20 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns. The Bucs have no answer for the speedy wideout, and he's due for a bounce back after getting nearly no action on Sunday Night Football against the Rams. On top of that, the Bucs will be without All-Pro safety Antoine Winfield Jr. due to an ankle injury. They will have their hands full with St. Brown all afternoon, and he should stack another touchdown against this squad.

Josh Jacobs Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-105) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

The Green Bay Packers will be an unexpected home underdog on Sunday when they welcome the Indianapolis Colts up north. That's because star QB Jordan Love went down with an MCL injury in Brazil last week, and will be taking a few weeks off to rehab. Malik Willis takes the reigns at QB, and he's had more than his fair share of issues while with the Titans. The Packers are going to have to rely heavily on Jacobs, who somehow didn't find his way into the end zone last week in a game with seven touchdowns. He carried the ball 16 times for 84 yards, and really heated up down the stretch after a slow start with his new team. Jacobs was a workhorse with the Raiders, and will have no problem shouldering the load for the Packers offense. He will be in position to score as long as Willis can do the bare minimum of keeping the offense moving.

James Conner Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-110) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

The Arizona Cardinals will match up with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday for an early season NFC West clash. The Rams struggled immensely to stop the Lions rushing attack on Sunday Night Football, and were beaten into submission in overtime with David Montgomery barreling down the middle on the final drive. Things won't get any easier for the Rams with James Conner running for the Cardinals today. They are banged up on both sides of the ball, and Arizona nearly pulled off the upset against the Bills last week. They gained some confidence in that road matchup, and Conner helped boost the offense with 16 carries and a touchdown. That workload shouldn't change against a weaker Rams front seven that misses Aaron Donald, and Conner should be able to find the end zone again in Week 2.

Joshua Palmer Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+230) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

The Los Angeles Chargers will head on the road to take on the lowly Carolina Panthers on Sunday in the early slate. Jim Harbaugh has emphasized the run in the early going as the new Chargers head coach, but that's partly because the wide receiver group is so limited. They have a rookie in Ladd McConkey who may turn out to be the top target for Justin Herbert, but there isn't much outside of that. Joshua Palmer is the only mainstay left on this offense, and he has a good chemistry with Herbert. The Chargers should find their way into the red zone often against a weak Panthers group that gave up 47 points last week to the Saints, but they may not always be able to punch it in with the run. Palmer will be a clutch target for Herbert on any third and goal plays. We're going to take a longer shot on him today as a trusty piece for the Chargers.

Zay Flowers Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+180) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

The Baltimore Ravens are looking for a big bounce back on Sunday after a last second loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last week on Thursday Night Football. Zay Flowers had a lot of touches in the Week 1 meeting, but wasn't able to rack up the yards like he typically did last year. Flowers finished with six catches for 37 yards, as well as two rushes for 14 yards. But what stuck out was the 10 targets, which was second on the team behind only Isaiah Likely. Flowers and Lamar Jackson have a great connection, and Lamar finds him for deep balls often. With the added jet sweeps in the rushing attack, Flowers is always a threat to score in the red zone. The Ravens will keep feeding him touches today at home as they will look to run up the scoreboard against a weak Raiders unit. Flowers should be one of many TD scorers today in Baltimore.
