Toronto is a 4.5-point home favorite at -105, with Hamilton +4.5 (-115). The Argonauts are -225 on the moneyline, the Tiger-Cats are +185, and the total sits at 61.5. CBS Sports Network will carry the Saturday night matchup from BMO Field.
Hamilton enters at just 4-6, but the record continues to undersell how competitive the Tiger-Cats have been. Their latest result was the clearest example, as Hamilton erased a nine-point fourth-quarter deficit to stun Saskatchewan 26-19 and end a three-game losing streak.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs. Toronto Argonauts Prediction
Tre Ford changed the game after replacing Harrison Frost in the third quarter. Ford completed 13 of 17 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown, added 38 rushing yards and led Hamilton to points on three of his four possessions. The Tiger-Cats scored 16 unanswered points after trailing 19-10, with Ford's 41-yard touchdown pass to Keric Wheatfall putting them ahead for good.
Toronto is coming off the opposite type of performance. The Argonauts entered Edmonton on a two-game winning streak before getting dismantled 42-12, committing costly turnovers and failing to score a touchdown after halftime. Toronto is now 4-5 and has been far too inconsistent to justify treating it like a dependable favorite.
Hamilton has also already proven it can beat Toronto. The first meeting ended 24-23 on July 18 after the Argonauts rallied from a 21-7 deficit but missed a potential game-winning field goal as time expired. Ford completed 21 of 27 passes for 218 yards and added 109 rushing yards, repeatedly hurting Toronto when plays broke down.
The Tiger-Cats have now won six of their last seven meetings with the Argonauts, and Saturday gives them an opportunity to clinch another season series. Even when Hamilton has struggled against the rest of the league, this rivalry has consistently brought out more competitive performances.
Toronto deserves some home-field respect, and Hamilton's quarterback situation adds uncertainty after Ford began last week on the bench. But whether Ford starts or again becomes the change-of-pace option, his mobility gives Toronto a problem it already struggled to solve in July.

Getting more than a field goal is valuable in a rivalry that produced a one-point result in the first meeting. Hamilton just proved it can rally against a 6-2 Saskatchewan team, while Toronto is coming off a 30-point defeat. The Tiger-Cats do not need another outright upset to cash.
