The Rams travel to Empower Field at Mile High for an 8:20 PM ET kickoff on NBC. Los Angeles is a narrow road favorite, with the spread around Rams -1.5 and the total sitting at 43.5.
The preferred angle is the Rams moneyline at -125, avoiding the spread in a matchup where Denver's home-field advantage and Nacua's injury create legitimate reasons to expect a one-possession game.

Los Angeles rebounded from its 27-7 loss to San Francisco by dominating the Giants 28-6. Stafford operated efficiently without Nacua, Davante Adams caught two touchdowns and the defense overwhelmed New York once Aaron Donald returned to the lineup.

Rams vs. Broncos Line Movement and Betting Splits
Los Angeles opened around -2.5 and held that number through much of the week before the broader market moved closer to Rams -1.5. The tracked total has fallen from 45.5 to approximately 44, with 58% of the money on the Under.
The moneyline split has favored Denver by volume, with roughly 65% of bets backing the home underdog. That movement has helped create the more attractive -125 entry on Los Angeles.

Nacua's likely absence is the clearest argument against laying points. He is Stafford's most reliable volume receiver and removing him changes how defenses allocate coverage throughout the formation.
Los Angeles showed Monday night that it can function without him. Adams becomes a much larger red-zone factor, while McVay can create targets for Terrance Ferguson, Tyler Higbee and the complementary receivers through motion and condensed formations.
Donald changes the other side of the matchup even more. He played 33 snaps against New York in his first game since coming out of retirement and should have an opportunity for a slightly larger role against Denver.
Denver's offensive line is one of the league's strengths, making Donald's interior matchup particularly compelling. Nix was uncomfortable when Kansas City consistently changed the pocket in Week 1, and Los Angeles can attempt to create similar disruption without needing to blitz heavily.
Denver should still have success on the ground. Getting Harvey back alongside Dobbins gives Sean Payton multiple backs who can create after contact, and the Broncos have every reason to keep Stafford off the field with longer possessions.
That is why the moneyline is preferable to the spread. Denver is good enough to make this a 23-20 type of game, particularly at altitude, and taking Los Angeles simply to win removes unnecessary exposure to a one-point finish.
The Rams have also won eight consecutive games against AFC opponents, while Denver has won nine straight against NFC teams. One of those streaks ends Sunday, and Stafford's experience in a close primetime game provides a slight edge.

Nacua being doubtful makes laying road points less attractive, but Los Angeles already demonstrated it can win decisively without him. Adams gives Stafford a proven No. 1 option, and Donald's return changes the ceiling of the defense.
Denver is capable of keeping this close, which is exactly why the moneyline is the cleaner wager. At -125, the Rams only need to leave Mile High with the win.
