The British Open is two days away. Will Tiger Woods make the cut at the 150th Open Championship? Betting expert Matt McCuen makes his prediction.

2022 Open Championship Best Bets: Will Tiger Woods Make the Cut?

The Open Championship will take place this weekend from the gorgeous St Andrew’s Golf Course in Scotland. This is one of golf's oldest events dating all the way back to 1873. Tom Kidd was the first-ever winner of the tournament, and since then, we have seen a lot of winners and great tournaments. We are hoping for another great tournament this weekend.

The PGA Tour has been headlined over the last month due to the changes going on with LIV golf. This has added a lot of controversy around golfers who said they would be joining LIV golf. One player who has been very outspoken against LIV golf is the favorite for this weekend’s tournament, Rory McIlroy. Rory has been considered one of the best golfers in the game for the last few years, and he will have a chance to prove why this weekend. One of the other big names in the tournament is none other than Tiger Woods. You've probably heard of him. Woods' name speaks for itself, and any time Woods plays in an event, he is the guy everyone wants to watch. No matter the status of his game, fans want to watch every move that Tiger makes.

He will look to shock the world this weekend and make some noise.

2022 Open Championship Pick

The bet I am taking is Tiger Woods to make the cut. We are 1-0 betting on this bet this season, and we will be 2-0 after this weekend. Anytime Woods chooses to play in a tournament, I believe that means he feels he can physically do it and plays with a chip on his shoulder. Woods has too much pride to go out there and embarrass himself in a tournament. If he is going to play, I expect his all. This is a course he has a ton of experience with, which is a key factor, and he has had a lot of success in the past. I am all in on Tiger to make the cut come Friday night!
