Well it's time for another golf article here as with most Major Championship weeks. There is one guy on the planet I ride with four times a year, and this is our last chance to do so this year as the British Open starts tomorrow, so let's dive in.

The Open Championship Prediction
Rory is in tremendous form. Since grabbing back-to-back victories before the PGA Championship at the Zurich and Wells Fargo, Rory has five straight top-15 finishes. Since his 2014 Open Championship victory, Rory has finished T6 or better in six of eight starts; he has finished inside the top-10 in eight of his last 11 Major Championship starts.
A lot of people think the U.S. Open killed his spirit, and I would be lying to you if I said I don't think it hurt - it did. But it also was the first time since in a while that he made his move on Sunday. In 2022 at the Open, Cam Smith caught him but he couldn't separate the lead, and in 2023 he couldn't chase down Wyndham Clark. At Pinehurst, Rory started three shots back, went and got the lead, but he just couldn't slam the door shut. Say what you will, he's still trending towards number five despite the heartbreak at Pinehurst, and I will be there when he does it.
If he does not win this thing, I highly doubt it's because he was not in contention. This man has been a top-10 machine in Major Championships with 15 in the last six years, and eight in the last three.
