The Open Championship Prediction
Tommy is currently the OWGR #12 player in the world, with seven professional wins and three Ryder Cups under his belt, winning two of them. Dubbed the nickname of 'Fairway Jesus", he is one of the best ball strikers on the planet with a buttery smooth swing and is without question one of the best players in the world.
What's weird?
Fleetwood has yet to win on the PGA Tour, and along with that, he has no Major Championships under his belt. Many believe it is only a matter of time before he breaks through and and I have to say I agree, but it's just weird. I had him outright at the RBC Canadian Open when he lost in the playoffs on an eighty-footer, pretty awful luck there. Either way, he is too good to not knock the door down eventually, and has played fantastic golf on the big stage lately.
Tommy has finished inside the top 10 at three of his last four Open Championships, and inside the top 20 in five of his last six major starts. I think the Englishmen keeps the trend going this week.
