The PGA Tour returns to the United States for this week's 2025 3M Open. Hosted at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, this is a lengthy par 71 running 7,431 yards with a lot of water hazards to avoid.
Last year's winner, Jhonattan Vegas, shot 8-under-par (63) in Round 3, which was just enough to win by one stroke, holding off a surging Max Greyserman on Sunday. Matt Kuchar, Maverick McNealy and Taylor Pendrith also finished inside the top-five on the final leaderboard at the 2024 3M Open.
After watching Scottie Scheffler dominate Royal Portrush to claim his first major title at the Open Championship, it'll be an adjustment for golfers in this field who played in Northern Ireland this past week. TPC Twin Cities has water on virtually every hole, while typically turning into a birdie-fest.

The 26-year-old American outplayed Rory McIlroy in the final round to win the Genesis Scottish Open, then turned right around and carded a solo third-place finish at the Open Championship on Sunday.
Gotterup only managed a T59 finish at TPC Twin Cities in 2024. However, his current form trumps his course history. The Rutgers alum ranks 34th total strokes gained, including ninth SG: Off-the-Tee and eighth in driving distance.
Leads the PGA Tour for greens in regulation at 71.5 percent, while also sitting 18th for scrambling and 28th in sand save percentage. It's led to Gotterup ranking sixth in scoring average, eighth on par 4s and 22nd in birdie average.
Yes, oddsmakers currently recognize Gotterup's game is trending up, valued as the fourth betting favorite at the 3M Open. However, 28-1 feels like good value to grab for one of the hottest players on the PGA Tour right now.

Jake Knapp opted to withdraw from the 2024 3M Open after a poor showing. He's played good golf lately though, recording three consecutive top 25 finishes, including a T4 at the Rocket Classic.
The 31-year-old American ranks 32nd total strokes gained, including 12th SG: Putting. Knapp is also 27th in driving distance, which helps at a long course like TPC Twin Cities.
26th on approach shots from 200+ yards, 23rd scrambling, and 17th putting average are also encouraging metrics. He's 14th in scoring average, 10th on par 4s and third in birdie average in 2025.
Knapp is more than qualified to contend for his second career win ahead of his return to the 3M Open. Bet on the power-hitter to make a run at the podium at his current 40-1 outright winner price.

We've seen consistently good play from Emiliano Grillo at the 3M Open. In 2023, the Argentinian logged a T10 finish at 14-under-par. He followed that up with a T24 finish last season.
In 2025, Grillo has had moments to post a third career win on the PGA Tour. Most recently, he fell short of beating Brian Campbell in a playoff at the John Deere Classic. It was his lone top 10 finish this season.
Grillo ranks 45th SG: Approach, 47th SG: Putting and 16th total driving. He's particularly good with his driver accuracy, ranked 17th on the PGA Tour in this metric.
34th proximity, 44th putting average and 34th on par 4s are other metrics that showcase Grillo's skillset. He's worth targeting as a sleeper prospect at 45-1 in the outright winner betting market at TPC Twin Cities.

It's been six years since Keith Mitchell's lone PGA Tour win at the 2019 Honda Classic. He's been among the best golfers in the first round this season but hasn't been able to hold a lead into the weekend.
Mitchell is coming off of a T46 finish at the 2024 3M Open but did log a T5 finish at this event in 2023. Ranks 13th SG: Off-the-Tee, including 12th for driving distance, so he'll have plenty of power to cover the lengthy fairways at TPC Twin Cities.

Mark Hubbard is my favorite longshot who I consider a sleeper pick at the 3M Open this week. He's currently outside the top 70 in the FedExCup standings at 95th and needs to finish the season strong to qualify for the playoffs.
The 36-year-old American has a pair of top 10 finishes in 2025. He's slid outside the top 25 in three consecutive events, although he did log a T13 finish at the Rocket Classic in late June.
Hubbard ranks 38th total driving, 41st on approach shots from 200+ yards and top-50 for birdie average this season. His best outing at the 3M Open came with a T16 in 2021.
125-1 is a bit too long for Hubbard, who is capable of draining birdies in bunches. Let's back him as the final sleeper pick at the 2025 3M Open.
