I was not originally going to bite on this total, but since we are getting a number I like at a decent price, I am willing to budge. The Los Angeles Kings are up north for a clash with the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight, in what I am expecting to be a shootout between two exceptional offenses.

My main concern here would be Joseph Woll who has been exceptional for Toronto so far, sporting a 3-1 record to go along with a 1.32 GAA and save percentage north of .960. It is hard to fade a red hot netminder, but the key thing we have going for us here is has not seen an offense like the Kings yet. Los Angeles has the best offensive unit in the league through the first two weeks of the season, scoring 35 goals in eight games for a 4.38 GPG average. They are getting north of 33 pucks on net per game, and scoring on a second-best 13.3% of all shots. The power play has struggled, converting at just 16.7%. But with the talent this unit has, I do expect positive regression soon.
Toronto has an exceptional amount of firepower as well. Led by superstars like William Nylander and Auston Matthews, everyone knows the Maple Leafs are a force to be reckoned with, especially at home during the regular season. They are scoring 3.50 GPG, getting 33.6 shots on goal per game, and converting the power play at an exceptional 32.1%.
