Philadelphia Flyers vs. Buffalo Sabres Prediction: Can Tage Thompson Lead Sabres to Winning Record?
We have a small slate on the ice this Friday night, but there is a wager I am digging, so let's dive in. The Buffalo Sabres host the Philadelphia Flyers, after they just met earlier this week in a contest that the Sabres took by three goals in a 5-2 victory.

Philadelphia Flyers vs. Buffalo Sabres Prediction
Philly is actually off to a fine start this season, and the squad seems to be much improved across the board. But they are already in a rough road spot here, facing a bad matchup and riddled with injuries. Center Sean Couturier is out with a lower body injury, and number one netminder Carter Hart is out with an injury, so Samuel Ersson will be between the pipes for the Flyers tonight. Ersson is 0-2-1 with a 4.88 GAA and abysmal .763 save percentage so far this season, and has to clash with a Buffalo squad finding their groove offensively.
They have scored four plus goals in four straight games now, and are averaging just shy of five goals per game over the last week. The Sabres offense is young, talented, and explosive led by stars like Tage Thompson. He will want to capitalize on this matchup and get the squad above the .500 mark on the season. I am playing this one two ways, so I can cash on the money line if this is a a one-score game. Feel free to go with half wagers on both, but the value is is in the puck line. I think if it is a one-goal game late, we can get there with the empty net goal.
