While it is hard to fade an incredibly talented Tampa Bay lightning team, this squad is not. the one it was two years ago and not the one it will be in a few months. A key star on this team is net minder Andrei Vasilevskiy, a player that without question changes the dynamic of the game.

Boston Bruins vs. Tampa Bay Lightning Prediction
The Vezina trophy winner is good to take at least a goal (if not more) off the board every game and is a spectacular backbone for the Bolts. They can rely on him and know he will get the job done but the problem is he will be out for a few more months.
With that said, they still are an excellent bunch with a spectacular top group of guys who have true superstar talent and chemistry. They should be contenders again this year if Vas comes back sharp and they clean things up defensively.
With that said, they are a little top heavy right now and I think a deep, well balanced Bruins squad can get to them tonight. Linus Ullmark should be between the pipes and he has once again been spectacular this season. The squad is conceding a league low 1.97 GPG and Tampa Bay is conceding fifth worst with a 3.58 GAA. I like the short price on the Bruins here who have won four of the last five over Tampa.
