Nashville Predators vs. Chicago Blackhawks Prediction: Can Connor Bedard, Blackhawks Start Fast?
Well I had to take the day off yesterday, but we are back with action on the ice tonight and I am excited to dive into some plays. To kick off our night, we head to the Windy City as the Chicago Blackhawks host the visiting Nashville Predators at the United Center, in what should be a game with a lot of pace early.

Nashville Predators vs. Chicago Blackhawks Prediction
Neither squad has been spectacular defensively this season, with Chicago sitting at a 3.68 GAA, third worst in the league. Nashville finds themselves further down the list, but still well north of three with a 3.21 GAA. The most important set of statistics for this one would be first period scoring.
These teams are the best at it.
The first period has gone over in 19/24 games for Nashville this season, hitting at a 79.19% clip and has hit in eight of their last 10 games. They are the second-best first period overs team in the league, second only to New Jersey. Close behind at third-best in the league are, you guessed it, the Chicago Blackhawks. The first period has gone over in 17/23 games for them, hitting at a 73.91% clip, and has also hit in eight of their last 10 games. Chicago is also the second best GIFT team in the league at 17/23, 73.91% and has also hit in eight of their last 10 games.
I expect a boat load of pace early between two squads doing it consistently, this is my favorite first period wager of the day.
