The second play I want to dive into will be an abbreviated write up play but I love this one. The red hot Minnesota Wild are up north in Vancouver, British Columbia for a clash with the Canucks at Rogers Arena for some late night puck.

Minnesota Wild vs. Vancouver Canucks Prediction
Despite sitting at 9-10-4 under .500 on the season, the Wild have won four straight by a minimum of two goals and have some serious momentum riding into this one. I expect them to come out firing early against Elias Pettersson and Vancouver.
The Canucks are a talented squad you do not want to fall behind and a game away from .500, this is huge. Every time you lose, you make it harder to get over that hump. Falling two games under may not seem like a big deal, but getting to even .500 on a five game win streak can be a season-long momentum boost.
On the flip side, Vancouver has lost three of their last five and just lost 6-5 to New Jersey at home. I expect the Canucks to do everything they can to get on the board early tonight, especially knowing the Wild have one the last five straight between the two teams.
